The East Harlsey Pantomime Players are a much-acclaimed local drama group and singers who have produced a pantomimes, plays, concerts or variety shows each year between 1997 and 2019. The group was set up by people from East Harlsey and Ingleby Arncliffe but others from the local area are welcome to join – to sing, act, help backstage, or with costumes, lighting, scenery and prompting.
New members, players, backstage, prompting, curtains, costumes were always welcome. If there is anyone out there who might be interested in reviving the group or tasking the role of Director for a local production, please contact the Village hall or Parish Council. Unfortunately, it has not been possible to plan a pantomime since 2018 due to the lack of a volunteer to direct the show, though there are plenty of keen players and youngsters.
Please go to Photographs for pictures from previous productions - Aladdin, Cinderella and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
There is no active Committee now, having been disbanded in 2024.
Other local dramatic groups include Hutton Rudby Dramatic Society, Osmotherley Theatre Group and Appleton Wiske Panto Players.
