The Data Controller is East Harlsey Village Hall Trustees who can be contacted via the Secretary email at eastharlseyvillagehall@outlook.com The Data Protection Officer is the Chairman of the Trustees.

Information is held by the Trustees in order to: -

  1. Facilitate the business of the Village Hall – bookings, maintenance, contact with committee members, volunteers and other users of the hall

  2. Inform people of events and general items of interest in and around the parish of East Harlsey

  3. Manage and pay staff

    • No personal or financial data is stored other than for the purposes of contacting people, with the exception of information required to facilitate payment to employees. This may include name, address, telephone number and/or email address.

    • We will ensure that your consent has been expressly given for the purposes stated. No data is purchased through third party organisations

    • Information is retained whilst it is valid for the purpose of contacting individuals or, in the case of an employee, for the legally required period.

    • Anyone can ask to see their personal information and the Trustees will reply within 30 days.

    • Any individual can ask to have all, or part of, their information removed from file.

    • The Trustees will not give, sell or in any way distribute personal information to third parties without agreement of the individual.

Any individual can raise a complaint against the Trustees via the Information Commissioners Office at www.ico.org.uk
