The 2015 cricket season ended with the First Team in 2nd place, the Second Team rather near the bottom of their league.
Congratulations to the Evening League team who won the 2014 League title under Captain Andy Maguire. (Not sure about 2015).

In 2013 East Harlsey were crowned the Champions on the last day  of the season when a nail biting one wicket victory saw them claim the League title.
The village cricket club runs four teams with opportunities for everyone who is interested. There are two teams in the local Langbaurgh League playing on Saturdays from April to September. An evening team plays in the Northallerton area league on Tuesdays and Thursdays, winning the title in 2014. There is also a junior side.

The cricket field is 200 metres outside the village and the playing area, outfield and surrounds are definitely the best in the district. As many villages don’t have a cricket team these days, players are drawn from about a 10 mile radius.  There are nets at the cricket field, and indoor nets are organised in January/February/March. Junior coaching is also available.

Spectators are welcome to come down and watch Home games and come along and enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake! More information about the cricket club can be found on the club’s web site at
